CCHDO supports oceanographic research by providing access to high quality global CTD and hydrographic data from GO-SHIP, WOCE, CLIVAR and other repeat hydrography programs. These data openly accessible and served in standardized community formats (WHP-Exchange, WOCE, and netCDF). CCHDO also manages public and non-public CTD data for use by the global Argo and OceanSITES programs.
Keyword search is provided by the search box in the upper right of the page. Other options include:
Map Search lets you draw a box on a map to search for station data.
Advanced Search lets you finely define key word, bounding box, and temporal searches.

CCHDO has begun producing CF compliant netCDF files to improve interoperability and machine readability. These will be offered in addition to the existing formats, and will roll out over time as data are converted.
40 cruises of CTD data from Canadian Line P are now available through CCHDO. These data span the years 2007 through early 2020, and are situated off British Columbia ~125-145W and ~48-50N.
CCHDO is now hosting the new GO-SHIP Easy Ocean CTDO data product (Katsumata et al. 2020). These data consist of cleaned station and objectively mapped temperature, salinity and oxygen ocean transects of more than 40 GO-SHIP sections, each with multiple repeats. Data are available to download by section, ocean basin, or globally in multiple data formats including Matlab and NetCDF.
